Staff recommends City Council:
1. Adopt a resolution approving the filing of a project application for the Per Capita
Program grant funds from the State Department of Parks and Recreation for Capital
Improvement Project 603 South Park Slope and Irrigation Repairs (Attachment 1);
2. Approve estimated revenue of $189,849 in the Grant Fund;
3. Appropriate $189,849 in the Grand Fund to CIP 603 for construction costs; and
4. Authorize the Public Works Director, or designee, to act as a representative to
negotiate and execute on behalf of the City all agreements and instruments necessary to
complete the project and to comply with the State Department of Parks and Recreation's
grant requirements.

1. Adopt a resolution approving the filing of a project application for Specified Grant funds
from the State Department of Parks and Recreation for the Pier structural and electrical
repairs and assessment (Attachment 1);
2. Approve estimated revenue of $2,300,000 in the Grant Fund;
3. Appropriate $2,300,000 in the Grant Fund; and
4. Authorize the Public Works Director, or designee, to act as a representative to
negotiate and execute on behalf of the City all agreements and instruments necessary to
complete the project and to comply with the State Department of Parks and Recreation's
grant requirements.
