Recommendation
The City Clerk recommends City Council adopt a Resolution of the City Council of the City of Hermosa Beach, California reciting the fact of the special municipal election held Tuesday, May 11, 2021, declaring the results and such other matters as provided by law.

Summary:
The certified statement of election results was completed by the Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk Elections Official on Monday, May 24, 2021. The City Clerk has prepared a City Clerk Certification and Resolution reciting and declaring the election results for City Council adoption at its June 8, 2021 meeting. The newly elected officer was sworn in on May 27, 2021 and will be seated after Council’s adoption of the Resolution declaring the certified election results.
