Staff recommends that the City Council receive and file, with regret, the resignation letter from Rabbi Gila Katz, Chairperson of the Emergency Preparedness Advisory Commission.

Discussion:
The City Clerk’s Office received a letter from Rabbi Gila Katz on May 2, 2019, resigning her position on the Emergency Preparedness Advisory Commission effective immediately.
With Rabbi Katz’ resignation, there are now two vacancies on the Commission. There is no further action being requested of Council at this time, as the Commission will be restructured to an Advisory Board per Council direction at the April 23 City Council meeting.
