It is recommended that City Council waive full reading and adopt by title Ordinance No. 18-1385.

Background:

At the meeting of July 24, 2018, the draft ordinance was presented for City Council consideration.  Following the public hearing, the ordinance was amended to add, after the second sentence in Section 17.21.030.B(1), the following statement: “A mechanical automobile lift must be located within an enclosed structure, except as otherwise indicated herein.”  The ordinance, as amended, was then introduced by a 4-1 vote, with Councilmember Massey dissenting.
